FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What is the recommended daily dosage of Sea Moss Gel?

1 - 2 tablespoons / daily

Sea Moss can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 weeks. You can also freeze it, simply pour the mixture into ice-cube trays, freeze, and store in an airtight bag or container.

It is convenient to have portion sizes on hands when needed. I don’t recommend freezing jars in its entirety.

Sea Moss is VERY rich in iodine, which is an essential mineral that helps produce thyroid hormones. Therefore, if you’re currently taking a supplement for iodine-deficiency you should not consume Sea Moss. This overload in iodine can throw thyroid hormones off and lead to a thyroid dysfunction.

If I am currently on a blood thinner, can I consume Sea Moss?

Sea Moss acts as a blood thinner by unblocking blood clots. Therefore, it shouldn’t be taken simultaneously with blood thinners.
